Fees and Rebates

Please contact Clearskies psychology to discuss our fees. 

You do not require a referral to see a psychologist to be seen as a private patient. 

 However in order to claim the Medicare rebate, you will need a referral from a GP, pediatrician or a psychiatrist, and a Mental Health Care Plan to be provided to us at your first appointment. 

The current Medicare rebate is $96.65 and you are able to claim the rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.  

We require clients to pay the full consultation fee at the time of consultation. Electronic claiming allows us to process the medicare rebate for you at the time of consultation.

Clearskies psychology is registered with the major private health funds. Please contact your provider to determine the level of rebate available to you.

Clearskies psychology is also registered as a Workcover provider 

Cancellation policy:  

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for all appointments.  If you are unable to attend your appointment or need to reschedule, providing advance notice allows the appointment to be offered to another client in need. Late cancellations/reschedules, and missed appointments will incur a cancellation fee. 

If for some reason you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Should an appointment be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled fee will apply. 

This is not a punitive action but a means to cover costs for holding the room and clinician’s time for the hour. If the appointment time is able to be filled by offering to another client, no cancellation fee will be charged. 

Please note that an SMS reminder will be sent to you 72 hours prior to the appointment.
